a new way to kill
Why dont you try using Tainted Flesh {E} on your pet.
Skill details Tainted Flesh Campaign: Core Profession: Necromancer Attribute: Death Magic Type: Elite Enchantment Spell energy cost:5 recast time:1 For 20...39 seconds, target ally is immune to disease, and anyone striking that ally in melee becomes Diseased for 3...13 seconds. It would mean all u have to do is keep you r pet alive and the things stupid enough to atack your pet will die quite quickly :P. |

Try long lasting pet shouts/skills combined with Enraged Lunge. This should do a lot of damage while keeping your pet alive quite well. Just a suggestion for what has to be one of the only pure ranger soloing builds ive ever seen.

I use a different build with my R/Me
My pets a black bear so it attacks slow including the Brutal Mauling attack. Comfort Animal,Poisonous Bite,Feral Lunge,Ancestors Visage,Fevered Dreams,Optional[Trying Conjure Phantasm],Primal Echoes,And Charm Animal of course Beast Mast Max+1+3 Illusion Max Hard to farm with a level 16 slow attacking bear. But slowly but surely i get more gold/purple drops than i would on my warrior soloing ettins by far. So i think pets can gain more drops for you ^.^ got atleast 5-1 golds in a few runs. |

A beastmaster build without Call of Haste? Bad.
Also, you really don't need that many pet attacks. |
